AF Series Polyperfluoroethylene Propylene (FEP) Insulated Wire & Cable

Mainly used in aerospace field and ground test system connection, and other military field ground equipment electrical connection.

Q/WHY 61.1-2019 Polyperfluoroethylene propylene (PFA) insulated wires and cables for aerospace applications.

Rated voltage: AC600V and below.
Rated maximum working temperature: 200℃ for silver-plated conductor, 150℃ for tin-plated conductor.
Minimum working temperature: wire -65℃, cable -55℃.
Minimum bending radius: 5 times the outer diameter of the wire, 8 times the outer diameter of the cable; bare shielded products can not work in the salt spray environment for a long time.

●Low temperature winding
Wire by (-65+2)℃, 4h low-temperature winding test, immersion withstand voltage 2.2kV, 5min without breakdown; cable by (-55±5)℃, 4h low-temperature winding test, immersion withstand voltage 1.0kV, 1min without breakdown
●Temperature shock
Temperature shock (200±2)℃x30min-(-55±3)℃x30min, a total of 4 cycles, the insulation is not flared; the maximum change in the measured value: 1.5mm.
● Insulation shrinkage
Wire at a temperature of (230 ± 2)℃ environment, stored for 2h, both ends of the insulation layer shrinkage ≤ 3.20mm.
● Wire and cable adhesion
Cable by (200 ± 5)℃, 6h test, immersion withstand voltage 1.0kV, 1min without breakdown
●Cable high temperature winding
should not crack after the (230 ± 5)℃x4h
●Combustion
Wires and cables in the combustion test process shall not have a burning droplets burning specimens below the meal in the paper. Test conditions for the fire time 30s, delayed combustion time ≤ 30s, delayed combustion length ≤ 76mm.

***The wire color is white by default. Multi-core cable (up to 7 cores), the insulation color sorting design for white, blue, orange, green, red, black, yellow, purple, gray, brown, in that order. Sheath color without special requirements, the default is white.
